Latest developments | New wave of U.S. attacks on Yemen and possibility of war expansion
Pars Today - Media sources have reported the start of a new wave of U.S. attacks on various regions of Yemen. Al-Masirah network of Yemen announced early Tuesday morning that the "Jabal Sarf" area in the Sana'a province had been targeted by a U.S. attack. According to Pars Today, the U.S. also targeted an area close to “Al-Sateen al-Gharbi” Street in the Al-Thawra district of Sana’a.
Attack on Al-Hudaydah
According to Yemeni media reports, the "Al-Habashi" iron factory in the Bajil district of Al-Hudaydah province was hit by more than 12 U.S. airstrikes. There are still no reports regarding potential casualties or material damage from this attack.
Martyrdom of two Yemeni children
Meanwhile, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) confirmed in a statement the martyrdom of at least two boys aged six and eight during the U.S. attacks in Saada, Yemen. On Saturday evening, American and British fighter jets and bombers targeted the cities of Sana'a and Saada, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded.
Yemen's response
In response to the U.S. attacks on Yemen, the armed forces of Yemen targeted the American aircraft carrier "Harry Truman" in the northern Red Sea with two cruise missiles and two drones early Tuesday morning. According to a statement from the Yemeni Armed Forces, this was the third time in the past 48 hours that the “Harry Truman” aircraft carrier had been targeted.
Withdrawal of U.S. warships
The Yemeni Army also announced that it had thwarted a large-scale U.S. airstrike planned against Yemen, causing American warships to retreat northward in the Red Sea. Sana'a emphasized that the U.S. would be responsible for all consequences stemming from the militarization of the Red Sea and the expansion of conflict zones.
Warning to the U.S.
“Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi,” the Secretary-General of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement, stressed in remarks on Monday night: If the U.S. continues its aggression against Yemen and support for the Zionist regime, Yemeni attacks will escalate further.
We have no fear
In response to the recent U.S. attacks on Yemen, “Mohammad al-Houthi,” a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, stated that the Yemeni people have no fear of American attacks, invasions, or terrorism.
Yemeni storm
On another note, millions of Yemenis held a rally on Monday in Sana'a and other parts of the country, condemning U.S. attacks while reiterating their support for the people of Gaza. Yemenis chanted slogans such as, "Oh Gaza, we stand with you, and you are not alone." At the end of the rally, the Yemeni people issued a statement declaring they are ready to confront tyrants, they know no fear, and they are willing to sacrifice their lives for this cause.
Failure of enemies
“Mahdi al-Mashat,” President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, praised the massive rally held by the Yemeni people in Sana'a and other provinces, emphasizing: The patience and perseverance of the Yemeni people have played a crucial role in thwarting enemy conspiracies and preserving our freedom, independence, and honorable positions.
