Pars Today- A Lebanese writer and political analyst said, "While the US President, Donald Trump, tries to pressure Iran for negotiation through aggressive policies and threats, the Islamic Republic of Iran's president has decisively stood against these threats."

According to Pars Today, Mohammad Alwash, Lebanese author and political analyst, wrote in an opinion for the Lebanese al-Nashra website, "Masoud Pezeshkian, the Iranian President, after American threats against his country, has stood against these policies. The Leader of the Islamic Revolution had earlier ruled out any negotiation with Americans."

He wrote, "The US president was not seeking negotiation with Iran, it rather wanted a document to be signed by Iran to accept the US and Israeli demands unconditionally. Thus, Iran's response was decisive to this threat. Iran's president announced, 'I will not negotiate with you, do whatever you wish'."

He added, "The Islamic Republic of Iran has just received a message from Donald Trump which was addressed to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. Although the details of this message have not been officially published, some disclosed information reveals that the content of the message didn't differ much from the previous stances of Trump and comprises the former threats."

Alwash continued, "Iran neither accepts nor will accept to be in a situation similar to that of the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the White House. Thus, specific conditions have been determined for any talks with the US. Although direct negotiation might be raised in future, currently it will be feasible only indirectly. According to informed sources, the most important conditions by Iran include the full and permanent removal of [all sanctions] and any threat of war, ruling out negotiation under pressure, providing necessary guarantees for negotiations and their results, and the opposite party's commitment to the future agreements so that nothing similar to Trump's [unilateral] exit of the JCPOA occurs."
