Sounds of several explosions heard in Doha; Senior Hamas members targeted for assassination
Pars Today – Reuters has reported multiple explosions in Doha, the capital of Qatar. According to Pars Today quoting Reuters, between 12 and 14 explosions were reported in Doha. A Zionist regime official told Channel 12 of the regime that the blasts in Doha were an attempt to assassinate senior officials of the Hamas movement.
Israeli radio claimed that one of the senior members of Hamas negotiating team was targeted in the attacks. Axios also reported that the Doha explosions were the result of an Israeli operation to assassinate Hamas leaders.
Reports indicate that the main target was Khalil al-Hayya, a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). Columns of smoke were seen rising from Hamas’s political office in Doha.
According to eyewitnesses, more than 10 Israeli airstrikes were carried out against Hamas offices in Doha.
