Pars Today — The corruption trial of Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, will resume on Sunday following the cancellation of the emergency situation that had been declared due to the ceasefire between the United States and Iran.

According to Pars Today, the Al-Quds District Court said in a statement that with the lifting of the emergency situation and the resumption of the judicial system’s normal operations, court sessions will restart. Netanyahu’s next hearing has been scheduled for Sunday at 09:30.

Benjamin Netanyahu is being tried in three corruption cases. In late November, he formally requested a pardon from Israel.

U.S. President Donald Trump, who strongly supports Netanyahu, has also asked Isaac Herzog, the head of Israeli regime, to grant him a pardon.

The Israeli president stated in mid‑February that the request is under review and rejected any claims of pressure regarding the case.
