Pakistanis celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s birthday amid violence

Pakistan has been hit by deadly violence as the country celebrates the birth anniversary of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny).

Two religious gatherings were targeted with bomb attacks in southern and northwestern provinces. Scores of people were killed and many others were wounded.
