  • Why is Trump mistrusted even by allies?

Pars Today- The website of Politico, referring to the new trade agreement between the US and Britain, stressed that according to the "Public First" opinion poll, most of the American and British respondents are seriously doubtful about Donald Trump's commitment to this agreement.

The US President, Donald Trump, announced during a presser in the White House on Thursday that according to the new agreement with London, Britain will accelerate the process of crossing for the American imports through the customs, but some details are yet to be finalized. Politico in an article on Friday touched upon this agreement. According to Pars Today, Politico wrote that the basic challenge ahead of the trade agreement, which the US and the UK have just unveiled, is that neither of them trusts in the person behind the agreement, namely, Donald Trump.

According to the report, the opinion poll jointly conducted last month by Public Frist and Politico, indicated that nearly all of the adults in the US and Britain have supported their governments' reaching an agreement, but less than 1/3 of the British respondents and %44 of Americans believe that Trump will abide by it.

Politico added, "This opinion poll presents a smart evaluation of how the US credit has declined in other countries due to Trump's provocative approach with tariffs and this is a warning to the White House implying how its aggressive approach in the new government drags the old allies towards welcoming its greatest economic rival, China."

According to this report, agreement with Britain is among the easiest of scores of agreements which the Trump administration has the opportunity to complete only till July 8. This is because the agreement has been concluded with a partner like Britain which has been striving to reach a trade agreement with the US since the first Trump term.
