Pars Today – The head of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stressed: This year we are witnessing the most historic scenes of unity during Arbaeen, and the Iranian flag has become a symbol of resistance.
Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, head of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, on Friday, while pointing to the unique features of this year’s Arbaeen, emphasized: “Today, Arbaeen has become a symbol of unity among lovers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), both among the followers of the AhlulBayt from all countries who attend Arbaeen, and among Muslims in general.”
According to Pars Today, quoting ABNA, Hojjat al-Islam Akhtari added: “Today, Muslims from other Islamic countries such as Bangladesh, India, and African nations—who are not originally Shia and do not follow the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.)—also take part in Arbaeen, but they are lovers of the AhlulBayt. In addition, among non-Muslims—including Christians, Buddhists, and followers of other religions—some of their scholars and intellectuals, alongside ordinary people, also participate in the Arbaeen ceremonies.”
Hojjat al-Islam Akhtari also stated that this year’s Arbaeen has a different atmosphere, as “it carries both the fragrance of the martyrdom of oppressed Iranians and the fragrance of victory against arrogance.” He stressed: “The enthusiastic welcome of Iraqi people toward Iranian pilgrims is a symbol of Islamic unity and global respect for Iran’s resistance against the United States and the Zionist regime.”
