Pars Today – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that during a meeting between a deputy of this ministry and the Iranian ambassador to Moscow, issues of international and regional security, including in the South Caucasus, were discussed.
General Alexander Fomin, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, and Kazem Jalali, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Moscow, held a meeting where they discussed a number of current issues regarding bilateral military cooperation and the prospects for their implementation.
According to the report, the Russian Deputy Defense Minister thanked Jalali for what he described as his significant contribution to the development of Russia-Iran relations.
Ambassador Jalali, in turn, pointed to the high dynamism and adaptability of Russian-Iranian cooperation in the military sphere.
The Russian Ministry of Defense added: "The meeting took place in an atmosphere full of friendship and trust and also confirmed the mutual commitment to the further development of strategic cooperation between Moscow and Tehran."
Russia: Norway is adding fuel to the fire of the war in Ukraine
The Russian embassy in Oslo stated in a declaration reacting to Norway's $8 billion aid package to Ukraine that the country is "adding fuel to the fire of the war in Ukraine" and inflaming it with such actions.
The statement noted: "It is clear that in the Ukraine war crisis, the Norwegians are in solidarity with the uncompromising approaches of the warmongering European party, or as they call it, the 'coalition of the willing'."

Signing of a new electricity export agreement from Uzbekistan to Afghanistan
The Afghanistan Electricity Company (Breshna) announced the signing of four new agreements with Uzbekistan to supply electricity to eleven provinces of the country.
The provinces covered under this plan will include Kabul, Kandahar, Baghlan, Nangarhar, Laghman, Logar, Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Ghazni, and Zabul.
