Pars Today – The Prime Minister of Pakistan condemned the Israeli regime’s aggressions against Iran and its ongoing crimes in Gaza.

On Monday, during the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Tianjin, China, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the continued atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza.

According to Pars Today, quoting IRNA, Shehbaz Sharif stated: “We strongly condemn the Israeli regime’s aggression against our brotherly neighboring and SCO partner country, the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the strongest terms.”

He emphasized that “we strongly support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our neighbors and other members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and we will never accept such reckless actions and aggression.”

Shehbaz Sharif, expressing deep concern over the situation in Gaza, called for the immediate halt of Israeli crimes and the bloodshed of Palestinians. The Prime Minister of Pakistan also urged the implementation of United Nations Security Council resolutions to safeguard the rights of the Palestinian people and to establish an independent Palestinian state with al-Quds as its capital.

President of Iran: There is no distance between the People of Iran and Pakistan

On the other hand, on Monday, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, stated that “we feel there is no distance between the people of our two countries.” He added: “We are keen to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations across all areas and fields and to remove the obstacles to expanding cooperation.”

Pezeshkian, expressing sympathy with the government and people of Pakistan over the loss of lives in the recent flood disaster, emphasized: “The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in various fields to bring peace, prosperity, welfare, and greater stability to both nations and the people of the region.”

In another part of his remarks, the President of Iran referred to the ongoing and escalating crimes of the Israeli regime in Gaza, stating: “I am astonished that the world, which claims civilization, defense of human rights, and peace, not only remains silent in the face of these crimes but also supports their continuation by supplying equipment and weapons. Withholding water, food, and medicine from people, and causing children, women, and men to die of hunger, is absolutely unacceptable and inhumane.”
