Pars Today – The President of Iran stated that BRICS must play a central role in countering the worrying trend of unilateralism.

According to Pars Today, Masoud Pezeshkian, Iran’s President, noted that one of the greatest threats to justice and stability in the contemporary international order is the rise of unilateral actions and the instrumental use of sanctions. He added that such policies not only threaten the national interests of independent countries but also disrupt global cooperation and make sustainable development impossible. In this context, BRICS can and must play a central and leading role in countering this alarming trend.
