Pezeshkian: The Way to Confront Israel Is a Unified and Strong Stance by the Islamic Ummah

Pars Today – In a telephone conversation with the President of Egypt, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, referring to Israel’s criminal aggression against Qatar, emphasized the necessity of a firm and unified stance by the Islamic Ummah to prevent the continuation of inhumane actions by Israel against Muslim countries.

According to Pars Today, citing the Islamic Republic of Iran News Agency, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a telephone conversation with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, expressed his sincere gratitude for Cairo’s hosting and its active role in advancing Iran’s nuclear negotiations and efforts to reach an agreement.

The Iranian President also referred to Israel’s criminal aggression against Qatar, emphasizing the necessity of a firm and unified stance by the Islamic Ummah to prevent the continuation of inhumane actions by Israel against Muslim countries. He added that Israel’s behavior demonstrates that the regime adheres to no rules or frameworks and strikes any country at will without restraint. Under such circumstances, adopting a united and strong position by the Islamic world is an unavoidable necessity.

Pezeshkian, while expressing appreciation for the clear and firm stance of the Egyptian President in condemning these criminal actions, expressed hope that the Islamic Ummah, guided by the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), would act as a united and cohesive community to prevent any aggression or encroachment by Israel against Muslim countries.

The President of Iran also announced Iran’s readiness to host the Egyptian President and stated that it is expected that, in the near future, senior officials from both countries will have the opportunity for in-person meetings to exchange views and consult on ways to enhance bilateral relations and strengthen the unity of the Islamic world.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, expressing his pleasure at the phone call with Masoud Pezeshkian and congratulating him on the agreement reached between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), described the deal as a clear indication of Iran’s sincerity and good intentions in maintaining regional stability, peace, and security.

The Egyptian President emphasized that regional countries have confidence in Iran’s wise and prudent approach in this matter, and stressed that there is no military solution to Iran’s nuclear file. El-Sisi also condemned Israel’s attack on Qatar, underlining Egypt’s opposition and strong aversion to any aggression against Islamic lands and violation of the Muslim Ummah’s red lines. He stated that Israel’s recent actions further highlight the urgent need for a unified and decisive stance against this regime and for countering its expansionist objectives aimed at dominating the region.
