A roadside bomb has killed at least two civilians in Afghanistan’s eastern Laghman Province.
According to reports, the attack took place near a shrine in the provincial capital, Mihterlam, early Sunday morning, according to Sarhadi Zwak, a spokesman for Laghman’s provincial governor.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack. But the Taliban and Daesh terrorists are the likely culprits.
The Taliban militants routinely set up roadside bombs to target Afghan security forces and government officials.
Daesh, too, has recently gained a foothold in the east of the country and is involved in planning and carrying out acts of terrorism.
