“Yellow Vests” strike London streets

Inspired by France’s ‘Yellow Vest’ movement, thousands of protesters gathered in London calling for a general election to remove Prime Minister Theresa May from power.

Demonstrators say the government, amid the Brexit turmoil, is destroying the social, economic and political fabric of the UK and radical changes are needed to save the country.
