Saudis fabricated Mecca blast story to deflect attentions, say analysts
Political and religious analysts fully aware of the heretical nature of the Wahhabi cult that rules the British created spurious entity called Saudi Arabia.
They point out that the alleged attempt by terrorists to trigger blasts at Islam’s holiest site, the Masjid al-Haraam or the Grand Mosque that houses the Holy Ka’ba in Mecca, was fabricated by the Aal-e Saud regime to deflect attention from its policy of state terrorism and its open alliance with the illegal Zionist entity under the auspices of Mother of all Terrorism, the US. Now we have interesting facts as follows:
Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Dr. Alaeddin Boroujerdi, commenting on media reports that Saudi security personnel foiled an attack on the Grand Mosque on June 23, pointed the finger at the regime in Riyadh, saying the alleged attack was fabricated by Saudi Arabia to deflect the world’s attention away from the political turmoil in the Wahhabi kingdom.
Calling it an evil plan by the Saudis, he said: The Saudis fabricated the story about the holy city, which is highly sensitive for Muslims, to deflect attentions from the new developments in the country’s politics triggered by the elevation of Mohammad bin Salman to the post of Heir Apparent after removing his cousin Mohammad bin Nayef who was first in line of succession to kingship.
In an interview in Persian with ICANA or Islamic Consultative Assembly News Agency, Boroujerdi added, “Fabricating a sensitive news story like the foiled attack on Mecca’s Grand Mosque was the best tactic used by the Saudis to distract the public attention from the appointment of the new crown prince as the change is very dramatic in Saudi Arabia’s politics.”
He then denounced the Saudis’ kidnapping of three Iranian fishermen in Persian Gulf waters and attempts to connect them to the blast, saying: “This is part of Riyadh’s evil plan to embroil Iran into the attack.”
The senior Iranian parliamentarian went on to say that the current political turmoil in Saudi Arabia amounts to a governmental crisis in the country by sparking widespread outrage in domestic political circles.
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s prominent Sunni Muslim religious leader, Shaikh Ahmad al-Qattan has said that he clearly sees the imprint of the Saudi regime in the Mecca terrorist incident.
He told RASA that Saudi Arabia has executed a supposed terrorist attack in Mecca to keep the people’s minds away from the disputes between the princes.
Referring to the latest developments in the region and in Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Ahmad al-Qattan, who is Head of Lebanon’s Qawluna wal-Amal [Our Words and Action] Society, said: “Undoubtedly, the events that are occurring in Saudi Arabia are undoubtedly the largest reason behind the mistaken policies that Saudi Arabia has taken by its raw, young and non-diplomatic politicians. These developments clearly show that Saudi Arabia is a yes-man to the imperialist powers, especially the United States. Unfortunately, Saudi Arabia has pledged and sworn allegiance to the Zionist regime against Muslims.”
The Lebanese Sunni cleric added that the domestic developments in Saudi Arabia began with the goal of aligning this country with the policies of the imperialist powers, the Zionist regime and the US though new policies with the aim of securing the interests of these countries in the Middle East.
He said: “The domination of imperialist powers over Saudi Arabia is a game which aims at normalizing relations with the Zionist regime in order to ensure the security of Israel and the domination of this regime over Muslims.”
In another part of his speech, Shaikh al-Qattan described the incident of the June 23 terrorist attack in Mecca and its connection with the ousting of Mohammad ibn Nayef from his posts as Heir Apparent and Minister of Interior and his replacement by the ailing 81-year old king’s hotheaded 31-year old son, Mohammad bin Salman, said, “The Saudi authorities’ blatant and deceptive decisions and actions have led to very unsatisfactory security outcomes, especially given the current situation in the country. Saudi Arabia is a country which exports terrorism to the whole world. The Wahhabi religion is a model, a leader and a genuine principle of Takfiri terrorist groups.”
He added, “Thus, it’s not surprising to witness a terrorist attack in Saudi Arabia, since the pretext for accepting the Takfiri ideology and terrorist operations in Saudi Arabia is completely prepared and ready.”
Qattan said: “We strongly condemn this terrorist attack in Mecca and condemn any terrorist incident that occurs anywhere. Mecca is very valuable to Muslims and we don’t accept the occurrence of such incidents in Mecca but it isn’t strange that the Saudi puppeteers are behind the scenes of this blast. Saudi Arabia may be sending an important message to the countries of the world, and especially its allies, through this incident. It’s very likely that the internal disagreements and tensions in the Saudi ruling family have led to this incident to keep people away from these tensions and important government issues.”
Shaikh al-Qattan explained the essence of the accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran by the Saudis, the Americans and the Zionists, and attempt to link countries supporting the Islamic Resistance to Mecca’s terrorist incident, saying: “This claim, while foolish, is absurd and meaningless. The Saudi authorities have failed to prove that Iran or the countries supporting the resistance have been linked to this incident.”
The Sunni cleric pointed out that Iran, Hezbollah and the Resistance Axis are at the forefront of the fight against the Takfiri/Daesh enemy, and said: “Undoubtedly, the repeat of these incidents would be in the interests of the imperialist powers and Israeli, although it can be said that such crimes were committed by Takfiri groups who had ended their obedience to the Aal-e Saud.”
He took note of Mohammad bin Salman’s appointment as the Heir Apparent and the association of this with his support of terrorists in the region and his fanning of the sectarian and ethnic tendencies in the region. He added: “Of course, regional incidents such as the victory of the fighters of the Resistance Axis in Syria and Iraq or the severing of relations with Qatar by Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt, or the increase of the oppressive and brutal [Saudi-led] war on the oppressed people of Yemen will certainly not benefit the supporters of terrorism.”
In conclusion, Shaikh al-Qattan said: “These Arab regimes and their allies will not be the main victors of this battle, but rather the Resistance Axis will be the ultimate and the true victor in all these battles. Any individual or group seeking to attack the Resistance Axis will take refuge in Saudi Arabia because the Saudis are the ultimate defenders of the war against the Resistance Axis and any action and victory achieved will worry this country, but the Islamic Republic of Iran and other Islamic countries must increasingly advocate for the oppressed of the world.”
