The recent show of solidarity of the world community of nations with the Palestinians and the issue of Islam’s first qibla, has been a firm rejection of the quixotic policies of US president Donald Trump.

Stay with us for a Viewpoint Column written by analyst S. Nawabzadeh that appeared in the Saturday, December 23 issue of Iran’s English language daily, Kayhan International, titled: “UN Vote Ought to Awaken Trump to Global Realities.”

It was indeed a resounding slap; but not on the face of the American people who for the past seven decades have been treated as mere beasts of burden by the despicable Zionists who feed like parasites on the fruits of their labour.

Last Thursday’s vote at the United Nations with 128 of the 172 member states present at the General Assembly, firmly rejecting Donald Trump’s devilish declaration of the occupied Islamic holy city of Bayt al-Moqaddas – or Jerusalem as the West calls it – as capital of the illegal Zionist entity, ought to bring the Don Quixote in the White House to his senses, especially since 25 European countries, including heavyweights France and Germany, rejected him and his threats outright.

Even traditional non-Western allies, such as Japan and South Korea, voted against the US president’s quixotic decision, while the two major non-European English-speaking powerhouses, Australia and Canada, chose to abstain, thereby refusing to endorse his move.

Washington’s bosom pal, London, which had planted the illegal Zionist entity in 1948 and left the fate of Bayt al-Moqaddas in limbo on the vague notion of an international enclave and the impractical two-nation solution for Palestine, cleverly stayed away from the UN General Assembly meeting.

This means, the General Assembly’s vote, on the heels of a similar rejection earlier last week by the UN Security Council, whose draft resolution drawn by 14 or 99% of its members, was aborted by the unfair and questionable veto of the US, is a clear message from the world community of nations that Israel is a spurious entity of illegal East European settlers, and has no roots in Palestine, let alone any claim to Bayt al-Moqaddas, the city sacred to Muslims, Christians, and of course, the original peace-loving Jewish minority – but definitely not the Zionists.

Kayhan International said: Hopefully, Trump, provided he is man enough to repent, reform, and rectify his wrongs as a Christian (which he claims to be), would rescind his misconstrued decision and save the US from international isolation and possible annihilation at the hands of the Zionists.

He is advised to diligently read the Bible and become familiar with the message of Jesus (peace upon him), especially since Christmas, the greatest festival of Christianity, is here.

We invite him to read the holy Qur’an as well, if he is keen to know the exalted position of the virgin-born Messiah in Islam, whose holy scripture has an exclusive Surah (chapter) in honour of Mary (peace upon her).

Perhaps, out of hypersensitive attachment to Jared Kushner, his Jewish son-in-law, the truth might be embarrassing for Trump, but the facts are crystal clear as all Christian Churches, including the Vatican and the Anglican, will testify. The Israelites and the Zionists are the most avowed enemies of Jesus and his honoured mother, Mary. To this day they continue to slander these two holy personages.

For his further information, the Israeli lobby that dictates US policies and holds the American Christian masses in thralldom is too willing to wipe out Christianity, if it acquires enough power to subject the Gentiles to the permanent slavery of the self-styled "Children of God”.

Kayhan International posed the question to the US president: Yes, Mr. Trump, are you willing to listen to the voice of reason?

If so, you should first kick out from your team the undiplomatic, inefficient, and insolent Nikki Haley (real name: Niimrata Randhawa), whose lies, threats, and theatrics at the UN have brought nothing but disgrace to the US presidency, causing embarrassment to every single decent American citizen, especially since no world country, not even your European or other allies, take note of her empty bluster.

It should be clear to you now that the chronic question of Palestine is not limited to the Arabs or the rest of the Islamic Ummah, but is an issue of global concern, as the two rounds of voting at the UN – the General Assembly and the Security Council – have proved.

These undeniable facts mean, there is no 2-nation solution to such a sensitive problem. Israel is a fake entity and it is time for its exit from West Asia.

As the Islamic Republic of Iran has been saying, the only lasting solution is a democratic referendum involving all original inhabitants of Palestine (Muslims, Christians, and Jews, but not the Zionists) for determining one single government for one single state, stretching from the Mediterranean Sea in the west to the River Jordan in the east and from the borders of Lebanon in the north to the Sinai in the south, with Bayt al-Moqaddas (or Jerusalem) as the permanent capital.

Then only, the world will allow the US embassy to operate from the city where Prophet Jesus preached his message and expelled the rebellious Israelites from its sacred precincts, because of their violation of the Laws of Moses.
