Oman: Iran & US agree to enter next phase of talks

Pars Today- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States have reached an agreement during their recent negotiations in Rome to begin a new phase of talks aimed at achieving a fair, lasting, and binding agreement.

Oman's Foreign Ministry announced in an official statement the agreement between Iran and the United States to move to the next stage of negotiations, and stated: "The talks are being pursued in order to achieve a fair, permanent and binding agreement between the two countries. The agreement that both sides are pursuing encompasses several key aspects, including guarantees regarding Iran’s nuclear disarmament, the lifting of economic sanctions, the preservation of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s legitimate right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, and the continuation of the diplomatic path to resolve disputes. / IRNA
