Iran & Qatar: Sports interactions between two countries should be purposeful

Pars Today - The minister of sports and youth of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a meeting on Tuesday with the ambassador of Qatar to Tehran, emphasized the purposefulness of sports’ interactions between the two countries.

Ahmad Donyamali and Saad Abdullah Saad Al Mahmoud Al Sharif, referring to the very good diplomatic relations between Iran and Qatar, emphasized the two countries' interest in further interactions in the field of sports. The Qatari ambassador to Tehran also congratulated the Iranian National Football Team on its recent success in qualifying for the World Cup and said: "We will support all Iranian brothers in international forums and welcome their candidacies in various Asian and global positions."/ISNA
