Major General Bagheri: No threat against Iran will go unanswered

Pars Today- The chief of staff of the Islamic Republic of Iran armed forces reiterated on Sunday: "We are ready to defend our national interests and the Persian Gulf. The Iranian armed forces are fully prepared for any situation and no threat will go unanswered".

IRGC Major General Mohammad Bagheri visited combat and operational units and assessed the readiness of the armed forces in Hormozgan province in the port city of Bandar Abbas on Sunday. He emphasized: "This trip to the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormoz, and the Sea of ​​Oman aims to assess the operational status of the region and the readiness of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the strategic naval forces  of both the Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in defending Iran's territorial waters, international waters, and our national resources./ IRNA
