  • Leader: Americans should refrain from talking nonsense

Pars Today – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on Tuesday, at the first anniversary of the martyrdom of President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi and his companions who lost their lives in a helicopter crash in East Azarbaijan Province on May 19, 2024, addressed the United States, saying: “The American side that is engaging in these indirect negotiations with Iran should refrain from talking nonsense.”

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in a meeting with the families of Martyr Raeisi and other ‘Martyrs of Service’ and the families of Iranian officials who have been martyred in the recent decade, reminded the American side of indirect negotiations to refrain from talking nonsense, emphasizing: “The Americans’ talk about not allowing Iran to enrich uranium is a big mistake, and the Islamic Republic will pursue its policy and method in this regard.” The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also considered the other party’s insistence on direct negotiation to be an attempt to convey a kind of surrender of Iran./ IRIB news agency
