Ways to strengthen Tehran-Tokyo relations reviewed

Pars Today – Strategies for strengthening relations between Tehran and Tokyo were discussed on Wednesday at the 15th round of political consultations at the director-general level between the foreign ministries of Iran and Japan.

This round of consultations was co-chaired by Ali Asghar Mohammadi, Assistant to the Minister and Director-General of West Asia and Oceania at Iran’s Foreign Ministry, and Ando Toshihide, Director-General for West Asia and African Affairs at Japan’s Foreign Ministry, in Tokyo. The two sides described the consultative meetings between Iran and Japan as a constructive tradition and emphasized the importance of continuing regular dialogue to explore areas for cooperation and deepen bilateral relations. /IRNA
