Pezeshkian: We do not trust enemy but honor our commitments

Pars Today – Iran’s president said that “we have no trust in the enemy whatsoever, but if we make an agreement, we will stand by it with honor.”

According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, President Masoud Pezeshkian, speaking on Sunday about Iran’s sensitive and critical circumstances resulting from intensified pressure by its enemies aimed at harming the Iranian establishment and people, stressed that while Iran does not seek war or conflict and considers it harmful not only to its own people but to the world, “we will never bow to force and bullying.”

Pezeshkian said: “Based on religious teachings, one should not reject peace when the enemy invites you to it, because it provides security and peace. However, one should not be unaware of the enemy’s deception and trickery, because peace could be used as a means to inflict harm.”
