Grossi: Continuation of Tehran–Washington talks a positive sign
Pars Today – The director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said on Wednesday that while no final decision has yet been made regarding nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States, the continuation of the talks is a good sign.
Speaking to reporters at a week-long IAEA seminar in Vienna, Rafael Grossi, referred to the ongoing indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington over Iran’s peaceful nuclear program. He stated that despite existing tensions, he believes “there is always a path to an agreement between the Americans and the Iranians, even amid disputes and disagreements over Tehran’s enrichment program.” Grossi emphasized that any potential agreement would require the IAEA’s “robust and coherent” inspections.
