Iran condemns Israeli strikes on Yemen's airport
Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Sanaa International Airport and the destruction of a Yemeni passenger aircraft, calling the act another example of the regime’s savagery and its hostility toward the Muslim people of Yemen and the region.
Esmail Baghaei described the Zionist regime’s attack—carried out during the Hajj season with the aim of preventing Yemeni pilgrims from traveling to the Land of Revelation and participating in the pilgrimage rituals—as a grave crime. He called for urgent and serious attention from international organizations, particularly the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), to this situation.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, referring to the Zionist regime’s repeated attacks on Yemen’s economic infrastructure and civilian facilities, said such actions clearly constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity. / IRNA
