  • Iranian, Kazakh presidents stress expansion of bilateral ties

Pars Today – The presidents of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan, in a telephone conversation on Thursday, exchanged Eid al-Adha greetings and emphasized the strengthening of friendly, Islamic, and strategic relations between the two countries.

Masoud Pezeshkian described the Hajj and Eid al-Adha as symbols of unity, empathy, and solidarity within the Islamic Ummah, adding: “Based on the luminous teachings of Islam, we regard all Muslim countries—particularly Kazakhstan—as our brothers, and we hope that the bonds of fraternity between our nations will grow ever stronger.”

Ghasym-Jomart Tokayev also described Iran as an important and brotherly country for Kazakhstan and reaffirmed his country's determination to enhance friendly ties with the Islamic Republic. (IRNA)
