Medvedev: BRICS is rising in global influence

Pars Today – Russia’s Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, responding to threats by US President Donald Trump to impose additional tariffs on BRICS-aligned countries, has said that BRICS is steadily increasing its global influence,

In a post on X, Medvedev wrote: “Trump has threatened to impose a 10% tariff on any country supporting BRICS. This proves we are on the right track.”

The 17^th BRICS Summit was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on July 06–07, where participants emphasized the group’s leadership role in promoting multilateral cooperation.
