Senior Iranian diplomat: Netherlands should have condemned Israeli attacks

Pars Today – Iran’s ambassador to the Netherlands criticized the Dutch government for remaining silent over Israeli and US military aggression against Iranian territory, stating that as host to the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice, the Netherlands was expected to explicitly condemn the recent attacks.

In an interview with the Dutch public broadcaster Ongehoord Nederland, Hadi Farajvand strongly condemned Israel’s military aggression against Iran, emphasizing that the Islamic Republic’s defensive response was in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter and based on the principle of legitimate self-defense. He added that Iran reserves the right, under international law, to respond to any threat against its territorial integrity or national security.
