Iran's Youth Freestyle Wrestling Team wins Asian Championship

Pars Today – Iran’s Youth Freestyle Wrestling Team has won the Asian Championship, claiming 4 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medals.

The tournament took place on July 12 and 13 in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Iran finished first overall with a total of seven medals.

Iranian gold medalists included: Ebrahim Elahi (70 kg), Mohammad-Mehdi Moomiwand (74 kg), Abolfazl Rahmani (86 kg), and Erfan Alizadeh (97 kg).

Silver medals were won by Abolfazl Shamsipour (79 kg) and Touhid Nouri (92 kg), while Arshia Hadadi took bronze in the 57 kg category.
In the team rankings, Iran secured the championship with 179 points, followed by India with 157 points and Kazakhstan with 133 points.
