UNICEF: Child killings in Gaza are horrifying

Pars Today – The executive director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has called the killing of Palestinian children in Gaza “horrifying,” referring to reports of seven children massacred while waiting in line for water.

Catherine Russell noted that this tragedy occurred just days after the massacre of women and children while they queued for food aid.

She emphasized that “Israel must reassess its rules of engagement and, in line with international law, protect civilian lives.”

Russell had earlier warned that thousands of infants in Gaza are at risk due to a severe lack of humanitarian access. In a post on X, she wrote: “Thousands of infants in Gaza are going without adequate nutrition due to severe access restrictions.”
