Pope renews call for immediate ceasefire in Gaza

Pars Today – In response to an Israeli airstrike on a church in the Gaza Strip, the leader of the world Catholics has called for an end to the war.

The Vatican issued a statement expressing Pope Leo XIV’s sorrow over the assassination of two individuals in the Israeli strike on a Catholic church in Gaza. The Pope once again called for an immediate ceasefire and emphasized the need to protect civilians as well as religious and sacred sites during times of war. (ISNA)
