Pars Today – Israel’s minister of education has threatened that schools may not open on schedule this year unless the finance minister releases the required budget.

The Zionist newspaper Maariv reported that Education Minister Yoav Kisch has demanded that Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich immediately transfer funds allocated for bolstering school security. Kisch warned in a letter that if the funds are not released, schools will not open on time at the start of the academic year.

Kisch also cited a message from Internal Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, stating that from September 1, 2025, his Ministry will no longer cover security costs for educational institutions due to the severe budget deficit.

The Zionist regime’s numerous wars have imposed staggering financial burdens, plunging Tel Aviv into a deep fiscal crisis.
