Iraq files complaint against Israel at UN
Pars Today – The spokesman for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said on Monday that, according to the Iraqi deputy foreign minister, Baghdad has filed a complaint with the United Nations over the Israeli regime’s use of Iraqi airspace during the recent 12-day war against Iran.
Ebrahim Rezaei, speaking to reporters about the parliamentary delegation's recent visit to Baghdad and its meeting with Mohammad Hussein Bahr Al-Uloom, Iraq’s Deputy Foreign Minister, said that Bahr Al-Uloom condemned the criminal aggression of the Zionist regime against Iran and affirmed Iraq’s support for the Islamic Republic.
Rezaei added that, according to Bahr Al-Uloom, Iraq has summoned the U.S. ambassador twice to protest the recent Israeli aggression and has informed the ambassadors of other countries that the Zionist regime’s actions are fueling insecurity in the region.
