Pars Today - Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations has urged the UN Security Council and Secretary-General to strongly condemn terrorist attack in Zahedan and take a principled stance against all forms of terrorism, regardless of perpetrators' identities or motives.
In letters addressed to UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Security Council President Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani stated: "The Islamic Republic of Iran reaffirms its unwavering commitment to defending its people and national security against all terrorist acts."
Eirovani emphasized: The competent authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with firm determination, decisiveness, and by utilizing all available capacities, will continue to fight terrorist groups and their supporters until these threats are completely eradicated and eliminated from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Terrorist and sabotage actions—especially those designed, financed, or supported by foreign agents—will never be able to deter the Islamic Republic of Iran from fulfilling its sovereign duty to protect the people and achieve justice. / IRNA
