  • Araghchi: Iran’s Foreign Ministry mobilizing all resources to serve Arbaeen pilgrims

Pars Today – The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister stated that "Every Iranian pilgrim participating in the Arbaeen procession serves as an ambassador of Iran," emphasizing that the Foreign Ministry is utilizing all its capacities to serve the pilgrims.

Seyed Abbas Araghchi expressed appreciation to both the pilgrims and organizers of the Arbaeen march. He also highlighted the work of the Political and Consular Committee of the Central Arbaeen Headquarters, which operates under the Iranian Foreign Ministry, calling the opportunity to serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) a blessing and an honor.

He stressed that the arrival of millions of Iranian pilgrims in Iraq requires precise coordination with the Iraqi government and its border provinces to ensure secure and orderly passage.

Araghchi also noted that arrangements have been made with Pakistan and Afghanistan to facilitate the transit of their pilgrims through Iran en route to Iraq. He stated that Iran’s Foreign Ministry has made maximum efforts to facilitate these pilgrimages in areas such as visa issuance, transportation, route security, and other executive matters.
