Madrid: All Spain-Israel treaties should be suspended
Pars Today – The Deputy Prime Minister of Spain has called for the cancellation of all treaties with the Israeli regime.
On Friday, Yolanda Díaz emphasized that cooperating with Israeli companies equates to supporting an economy based on genocide. She added that all treaties with Tel Aviv should be suspended and that the European Union must halt arms purchases from Israel. Díaz also recently condemned Israeli terrorist attacks on Iran, stating that Benjamin Netanyahu is pushing the world toward escalating war.
Last week, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares said the EU must act immediately to prevent a new wave of Israeli violence in Gaza. Albares added that Europe cannot stand by silently in the face of escalating Israeli military occupation and famine. He stressed that it is time for the EU to follow Spain’s example and officially recognize the State of Palestine.
