Venezuelan FM appreciates Iran’s solidarity and support

Pars Today – In a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister praised Iran’s solidarity with and support for the independence of his country.

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held a telephone conversation with Yvan Gil Pinto, Foreign Minister of Venezuela, to discuss bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Caribbean region.

During the call, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister provided a report on developments in the Caribbean region following the escalation of threats and unlawful claims by the United States against his country. He also expressed appreciation for Iran’s solidarity and support for Venezuela, emphasizing the determination of the Venezuelan people and government to defend their country’s independence and national sovereignty against U.S. ambitions and threats.

The Iranian Foreign Minister, referring to the growing danger posed by the U.S.’s aggressive unilateralism to global peace and stability, condemned the U.S. for making baseless accusations against the Venezuelan government and threatening the use of force against the country.
