Pars Today – The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London, in a statement, called the Daily Telegraph’s report alleging Tehran’s readiness to reduce its uranium enrichment level baseless and warned against the publication of undocumented claims.

The statement from the Iranian Embassy in the UK read:

“The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this country expresses deep concern over the repeated publication of biased and unfounded reports about Iran by the Daily Telegraph. These articles, based on vague and unreliable sources, lack credibility and present a distorted and misleading image of the realities in Iran. Such an approach is inconsistent with the principles of professional journalism, impartiality, and commitment to truth.”

Recently, the Daily Telegraph claimed in a report that Iran is prepared to reduce its uranium enrichment level from 60 percent to 20 percent in order to prevent the reimposition of UN Security Council sanctions. / IRNA
