Pars Today – U.S. tech giant Microsoft has announced that it has dismissed four employees for participating in internal protests against the Israeli military’s use of the company’s systems and software in the Gaza war.

In a statement issued Thursday, Microsoft said the individuals were terminated for “violating company policies.” The statement also described protesters’ entry into the office of company president Brad Smith as an unlawful act.

Meanwhile, the activist group “No Azure for Apartheid” confirmed in its own statement that two software engineers, Ricky Family and Anna Huttel, were among those dismissed by Microsoft. / IRNA
