Hebrew media admit to the death of 900 Israeli soldiers since October 7

Pars Today – A Zionist newspaper revealed that the number of Israeli army soldiers killed since the beginning of the Gaza war on October 7, 2023, has reached 900, while another 6,214 have been wounded. This toll is described as unprecedented since the launch of the “Iron Swords” operation.

According to data from the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, 311 Israeli army soldiers were killed in the battles that took place in Gaza on October 7 and 8, 456 during the ground invasion inside Gaza, and 133 on various other fronts.

The newspaper reported that among the dead were 295 reservists and 154 regular forces.

It further noted that the Golani Brigade, with 114 killed, including 71 on the day of the attack—most of them from the 13th and 51st Battalions—suffered the heaviest losses. In addition, the Combat Engineering Corps lost 79 soldiers, the Givati Brigade lost 70, and the Nahal Brigade lost 61 soldiers.

According to Yedioth data, 45 members of the Commando Brigade were also killed, and the armored brigades lost dozens of soldiers. In addition, 72 Border Guard troops were killed, 67 of them on October 7 alone.

Israeli media publish these figures while the army continues to censor the exact number of its casualties.
