He emphasized the United Nations’ support for continuing talks and the diplomatic process concerning the Islamic Republic’s nuclear issue.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, in a telephone conversation with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, discussed Iran’s nuclear issue and regional developments. Emphasizing the Islamic Republic’s determination to safeguard the rights and interests of the Iranian people in accordance with the Non-Proliferation Treaty, Araghchi highlighted the necessity for a clear and decisive stance by the United Nations and all countries in condemning illegal attacks on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities.

He stated that such an approach would only complicate the issue further.

He emphasized the necessity for European parties and UN Security Council members to recognize the value and significance of this development.
