Iranian President congratulates Armenia on National Day

Pars Today - The President of Iran, in separate messages, congratulated the President, Prime Minister, and people of Armenia on the anniversary of the country’s independence and National Day.

In his message to Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of Armenia, Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that the peoples of Iran and Armenia, with their long-standing history, civilization, and rich culture, have coexisted closely over the centuries and developed strong bonds and mutual affinities. He expressed hope that, under the guidance of the leaders of both countries, the process of deepening and enhancing bilateral relations—based on strategic vision and mutual interests—would continue steadily.

In his congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, the President of Iran noted that relations between Iran and Armenia in recent years have witnessed dynamic progress across political, economic, and cultural fields.

He emphasized that, under the guidance of the two countries’ leaders and by employing the existing opportunities for expanding cooperation, this momentum should continue with a strategic outlook, contributing to the strengthening of peace and stability in the region. / IRNA
