Lebanese President calls on international community to confront Israeli regime

Pars Today – The President of Lebanon has condemned a recent Israeli attack in southern Lebanon and called on the international community to take action against the occupying regime.
Joseph Aoun, the Lebanese president, who traveled to New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly sessions, denounced Israel’s ongoing aggressions, violations of the ceasefire agreement, and the commission of a new crime in southern Lebanon.
The President of Lebanon has called on the international community, particularly leaders present at the United Nations and countries overseeing the November 27, 2024 declaration, to exert maximum effort to halt violations of international resolutions and pressure Israel to withdraw from Lebanese territories and comply with the declaration.
On Sunday, the Israeli regime once again violated the ceasefire in Lebanon, carrying out a drone strike on the southern city of Bint Jbeil, martyring at least five people, including three children.
