Qalibaf: There is no obligation to comply with illegal UN resolutions

Pars Today – The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament stated: "The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the implementation of the snapback and the reinstatement of UN sanctions resolutions to be illegal."

“Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf,” the Speaker of Iran's Parliament, said on Sunday during his speech before the open session of the Parliament: "Given that Russia and China, as two permanent members of the UN Security Council, have emphasized in official statements and public positions that the reinstatement of UN sanctions is illegal, there is no obligation to comply with them." / IRNA
