Pars Today – Following a proposal by the U.S. president to end the war in Gaza, informed sources reported that Arab countries have made changes to the plan.

Diplomatic sources told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan have made significant modifications to the U.S. plan to halt the war in the Gaza Strip. These changes are expected to be discussed on Monday during a meeting between the U.S. president and the Israeli prime minister.

The revisions aim to create a more realistic path to a ceasefire, emphasizing the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces, Palestinian management of Gaza, and a greater role for regional actors.

According to the report, the Arab-led amendments involve the gradual withdrawal of occupying forces from Gaza and the deployment of international troops along the region’s borders.

Additionally, the administration of the Gaza Strip would be handed over to a Palestinian government composed of technocrats, linked to the Palestinian Authority rather than being managed internationally.

The report also noted that U.S. President Donald Trump has assured Arab leaders that, under this plan, no annexation measures will be carried out in the West Bank or Gaza Strip. /IRNA
