Nationwide rallies in support of Gaza held across Iran
Pars Today — Following today’s Friday prayers, rallies titled “Promise of Victory” were held across Iran in solidarity with the people of Gaza.
The rally in the capital began in front of the University of Tehran, where participants chanted slogans in support of Hamas and the Axis of Resistance, and condemned Israel’s war crimes and acts of genocide. Nasser Abu Sharif, the representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Tehran, was also present at the event.
The demonstration took place as two years have passed since the Al-Aqsa Storm operation and the start of Israel’s military assaults on Gaza’s residents. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, between October 7, 2023, and October 9, 2025, the total number of victims of Israeli attacks has reached 67,183 martyrs and 169,897 wounded.
While the Palestinian Resistance and Hamas reached a ceasefire agreement with the Zionist regime yesterday, news outlets today reported heavy Israeli attacks on Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. According to CNN, the strikes occurred at around 5:45 a.m. local time, as Israeli artillery shelling also continued in central Khan Yunis.
