Hamas: Occupiers’ delay has worsened humanitarian disaster in Gaza

Pars Today – The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said on Thursday that due to the delay and evasiveness of the criminal Zionist regime and its refusal to honor commitments under the ceasefire agreement at the start of winter, the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza is deepening every day.

In its statement, Hamas emphasized the following points regarding this catastrophic humanitarian situation: “The criminal enemy is fully responsible for the disastrous conditions faced by the people of Gaza. These conditions are the result of the regime’s deliberate obstruction of essential shelter supplies and its efforts to exacerbate the suffering of hundreds of thousands of displaced people on the brink of winter, while existing tents are incapable of withstanding cold and storms.”

Hamas added: “We call on mediators and countries guaranteeing the implementation of the ceasefire agreement to take immediate action, exert direct pressure on the occupying regime, and compel it to allow the entry of all necessary shelter materials without restriction. The Rafah crossing must be fully reopened in both directions, in accordance with the terms of the agreement, to ensure the protection of the human dignity of those affected.”
