									Terrorist attack in Zahedan
Pars Today – The Friday Prayers leader of Khash in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeastern Iran, stated: "Terrorist groups have no connection with the people of this province or the Sunni and Baloch communities. Their actions solely serve the interests of Iran’s foreign enemies."
Ali Movahedi-Rad, the head of the Sistan and Baluchestan Justice Department, stated: "On Saturday morning, an armed group attempted to enter the Zahedan courthouse building. However, due to the vigilance of security and protection forces, they were prevented from entering. Subsequently, the terrorists initiated an armed confrontation using firearms and grenades."
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the Public Relations of the IRGC Quds Headquarters announced: "In the terrorist attack on the Zahedan courthouse, 6 people, including a woman and an infant under one year old, were martyred, and 22 others were injured."
Public vigilance thwarted the terrorists’ sinister goals
Mohammad Reza Aref, Iran’s First Vice President, condemned the incident in a statement, emphasizing: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always been a victim of terrorism. It is regrettable that self-proclaimed human rights advocates remain silent in the face of terrorist operations carried out by various militant groups."
Aref stressed: "These criminal terrorists, backed by the enemies of the Iranian people, once again engaged in subversive activities to disrupt order, security, and stability in Iran, martyring a number of our compatriots at the Zahedan courthouse. However, the vigilance of the Iranian people, as always, has prevented the terrorists from achieving their sinister objectives."
Zahedan citizens emphasize standing firm against enemies
Meanwhile, people of Zahedan from various ethnicities and faiths, along with Sunni scholars, expressed disgust at this terrorist act, declaring solidarity with the families of the martyrs and wounded. They emphasized the need for unity and vigilance against security threats. Scholars, social activists, youth, and students also issued messages of condolence, stressing the necessity of resisting terror and hatred.
Terrorist groups do not represent the Baloch people
The Friday Prayers leader of Khash in Sistan and Baluchestan stated: "Terrorist groups have no affiliation with the people of this province or the Sunni and Baloch communities. Their actions only align with the goals of Iran’s foreign enemies."
Ayatollah Mostafa Mohammadi, the Leader’s representative in Sistan and Baluchestan and the Friday Prayers leader of Zahedan, said: "The desperate actions of terrorists are doomed to fail and will be relegated to the dustbin of history, thanks to the vigilance of the people and elites."
Molavi Abdolhamid condemns the terrorist attack
Molavi Abdolhamid Esmailzehi, the Friday Prayers leader of Makki Mosque in Zahedan, stated: "I consider this cowardly attack on a public, non-military location, where unarmed individuals, including a woman and child, lost their lives, to be un-Islamic and strongly condemn it." He emphasized: "Armed actions are in no way beneficial to the people of Sistan and Baluchestan, and any insecurity harms the interests of the province."
Assassination and violence have no place in Islam
Molavi Belal Haghani-Manesh Narooei, the Friday Prayers leader of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Zahedan, described the armed attack on the courthouse as "blind, desperate, and contrary to Islamic and humanitarian principles." He said: "Assassination, threats, insecurity, and violence have no place in the noble religion of Islam." He stressed: "Such actions only fuel discord and increase the suffering of the people, leading to nothing but the escalation of social crises."
This crime is similar to the Zionist regime’s daily massacres in Gaza
Molavi Abdolbaset Hassanzahi, a Sunni scholar, commented on the terrorist act: "This crime is similar to the shameless daily massacres committed by the fake Zionist regime in oppressed Gaza, where faithful and patriotic people are mercilessly slaughtered. Today, almost no crime can be considered isolated. Wherever aggression and killing occur, it is undoubtedly under the supervision and absolute support of global arrogance."
Enemies seek to undermine national unity
Farshad Gorgich, the governor of Khash in Sistan and Baluchestan, stated: "The enemies of the system, using deceived elements, aim to strike at national cohesion and create instability in the region. However, the people of the province are vigilant and will not allow the blood of the innocent to be used as a tool for sedition."
