Thoughts of Imam Khamenei | Establishing new Islamic civilization: Islamic Revolution's great goal

Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution
Pars Today — Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, stated that establishing a new Islamic civilization is the great goal of the Islamic Revolution.
According to Pars Today, on February 17, 2022, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, spoke via video link with the people of East Azarbaijan, stating:
"The reason you see the front of arrogance standing so strongly against the Revolution and the revolutionary people of Iran, and acting with such hostility, is because the Revolution is alive. If the Revolution were not alive, they would have no reason to show so much malice and enmity toward the Iranian nation. Now, what does 'the Revolution being alive' mean? It means the attachment of the country’s new generations to the ideals of the Revolution."
Today, the people are attached to the same ideals that the Revolution put forward — that is, national independence, national dignity, national welfare, social justice, the realization of an Islamic society, and ultimately, as I mentioned earlier, the establishment of a new Islamic civilization. These are the great goals of the Revolution. Today, our people are devoted to these goals and are genuinely interested in them; whenever they can take action, each person truly does what they can. In other words, a vast majority of the country shares this attachment.
Presenting a model to world for good governance
Imam Khamenei also stated during a meeting with students on April 8, 2024:
"We must pursue ideals. In my view, the Islamic Republic can summarize its ideals under two main headings: the first is 'governing the country in an Islamic manner'; the second is 'presenting a model to the people of the world for good governance.' These are the two ideals. You must strive for these two goals; you should think about and work on the ways that can realize these two main objectives."
Western societies will become hollow and empty
Meanwhile, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated during a meeting with commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on September 18, 2016:
"Idealism is the essence of rationality, because if a nation loses its ideals, it will become hollow and empty from within, just like the situation of Western societies today."
Ayatollah Khamenei, in a meeting with elites and students on January 2, 2017, also emphasized that “serious commitment to religious and divine ideals and revolutionary dedication” is essential for the real progress of Iran. He stressed that this principle must be given special attention in all areas of the country, including the economy, politics, scientific work, governance, and the selection of managers.
