Pars Today – Asghar Nourollahzadeh, head of Iran’s Innovation and Prosperity Fund, highlighted the prominent role of women in knowledge-based companies, noting that they manage 1,500 innovative enterprises.

According to Pars Today, Nourollahzadeh announced the growing managerial role of women in Iranian knowledge-based companies during the Women’s Honor Ceremony.

While congratulating the birth of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (PBUH) and honoring Women’s Day, he highlighted the prominent and influential role of women in Iran’s innovation and technology ecosystem. He emphasized the value of active female participation in knowledge-based companies, noting that out of approximately 10,200 active knowledge-based companies in Iran, over 1,500 are managed by women. This figure reflects the high capability and potential of women in scientific, technological, and managerial fields.

Referring to the growing share of female managers in Iranian knowledge-based companies in recent years, he expressed hope that this trend would accelerate further. According to Nourollahzadeh, the development of knowledge-based companies led by women can play a critical role in strengthening the knowledge-based economy and promoting sustainable national growth.

The head of Iran’s Innovation and Prosperity Fund emphasized that the fund will fully support knowledge-based companies, particularly those managed by women, and will leverage available capacities to enhance the role of women in management and technological entrepreneurship.
