Araghchi to UAE representative: You were an active partner in aggression against Iran; reconsider your way of thinking

Pars Today — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in response to the baseless claims of the representative of the UAE at the BRICS meeting, said: "You were an active partner in the aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran."

According to Pars Today, "Seyyed Abbas Araghchi," Iran's Foreign Minister, said on Thursday at the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting in New Delhi, in response to the unfounded claims of the UAE representative at the meeting: "You speak about international law, but please tell me which part of international law allows you to support an unprovoked and unjustified act of aggression?" Therefore, the UAE is an active partner in this aggression."

Araghchi addressed the UAE representative at the BRICS meeting, adding: You did not even condemn the brutal attack on Iran's Minab school, and you actively participated in the aggressive act of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran — by providing military bases, airspace, territory, and facilities to the US and the Israeli regime.

Iran's Foreign Minister also said that everyone knows that we were in the middle of negotiations when the Americans and Israelis attacked us, and we were astonished that our brothers in the UAE decided to actively join the aggressors.

The head of Iran's diplomatic apparatus reminded: Nevertheless, we did not attack the UAE. We only targeted US military bases and US military facilities in the UAE — facilities that unfortunately are located on Emirati soil. We targeted American forces and American military systems, and the more they attacked us, the more we defended ourselves.

Araghchi added thta I fraternally advise our friends in the UAE that they saw that the presence of US forces and military bases on their territory did not provide them with security. Your alliance with the Israelis also did not protect you. Therefore, reconsider your way of thinking.
