Iran clinches commanding victory over Argentina in Volleyball Nations League

Pars Today – The men’s national volleyball team of the Islamic Republic of Iran secured a victory against Argentina in their third match of the Volleyball Nations League.

According to Pars Today, citing the IRIB news agency, the matches of the first week of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League for men are being held from June 10 to 14 in Ottawa (Canada), Brasília (Brazil), and Lin Yi (China).

The Iranian men’s national team played Argentina at 2:30 a.m. on Saturday in the Neilsen Nelson Arena in Brasília. Iran won the match convincingly in straight sets, 25–23, 25–19, and 25–23, earning the full three points.

With this result, Iran gained 13.21 points in the FIVB world rankings. The Iranian team is scheduled to face Belgium at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, in its fourth and final match of the opening week of the competition.
